1. A lot of people feel that ADHD is overdiagnosed and that too many people feel they have the problem. I think this is true somewhat because some children think that just because they dont want to listen in class at the time and are thinking about something else, they have a problem. But really, in most cases its laziness and all they have to do is tell themselves to focus. I do feel like in some cases medicine to solve this problem are necessary. Some children really do need it. But overall, i can see where too many people are diagnosed and it is a problem.

2. In other people's views, if someone feels they have a problem and that medicine could help, then i dont see an issue. My personal view is that if more good comes from taking medication than bad, then it is obviously worth taking. I take medication for ADHD myself and know that if i didnt have it, i would be bouncing all over the place. It really helps me to calm down and focus on what i have to do. If the medication were to help others like it does myself, then i dont see any problem with over-diagnosing this medication.
